As Tom Petty says, “The waiting’s the hardest part.”
Well, the wait is over, and we’ll finally be able to enjoy those Wines from Corning Winery and Vineyard. Ron Corey and Dr. Stephen Gruba have signed on to take over the Beer Education Project’s next Tasting. That’s right, we’re doing wine for the Beer Education Project. Don’t be sassy! We like the local stuff and are excited to offer their products and want you to learn a little about them.
So here’s your reminder post, as I don’t really have much in the way of pre-registrations this time around (oddly, considering the enthusiasm). I know it’s busy this time of year, but do try to come out for a little Corning culture this coming Monday (December 8).
Do us a favor, and send the link to this reminder to all your buddies.
THE DETAILS:
When: Monday, December 8, 2008
Where: Electric Burrito (626 Davis Avenue, Corning)
What time?: We’ll get started promptly at 7pm.
Cost: Since a few label approvals/printings are still up in the air, I’m going to leave it up to you this time. Our previous tastings were $10 for an assortment of 6 different beers. We may not have a total of 6 wines this time, so we’ll just do this one on the Honor System. Just come and support your local wine makers.
But J., it’s a school night: I know. Like all of our tastings, this is a quality, not quantity dealio. We’ll swirl, smell, sip and savor a few wines, learn a little, and get you on your way by 8:30 or 9pm.
